I love this friendly and efficient coffee shop! They always have a great attitude and knowledge of their menu! The boutique next door is amazing also!

Nice atmosphere, nice mug of herbal tea. The walnut honey roll looked promising but failed to deliver in that the bottom half of the roll, within the paper baking cup, was so saturated with an overly sweet syrup that it was soggy and unpleasant. DI thought it would be buttery, perhaps my disapjupointment was that it was not. If I'm in the neighborhood I'll try again.

Great place to chill. This is a little off the beaten track, but worth walking from downtown. Good coffee, nice pastries, great chili today. If you're looking for a place to sit and chat... especially on a Monday (when many other places are closed in Brevard) ... this is your place.

Delicious food, great coffee, great atmosphere. Only downside is getting coffee out of a large thermos instead if made in thr spot.

Staff was very friendly, bagels were fresh and the atmosphere was nice. Nice small area out on the sidewalk is available for dogs. I only downgraded it from five stars because the oatmeal was instant or quick cook. My suggestion to them is to use a timed Crock-Pot the night before and use steel cut oats to be ready the next morning. This would be a much higher quality oatmeal.

I can't review much, because we only had a hot chocolate - but, I KNOW hot chocolate, and this one was the BEST I have ever had (and the BEST whipped cream!). We were just crusin' thru Brevard on this positively gorgeous cold day today, and saw this place. There was plenty of parking in the lot, so we went in (free parking lot next to the Cafe). There is nice outdoor tables to sit at, as well as a lot of tables inside. The place was SO cute and clean and bright and spacious inside. We ordered our hot chocolates (very reasonably priced, the 2 were only $5-something), and the guy made them and brought them to us (he was super-nice). That hot chocolate was so delicious, I didn't want the cup to end. Next time I am in Brevard, I want to try the food; the food menu looked really good. This is a great cafe with a lot of choices and I am so glad I stopped in here! My pic of the hot chocolate doesn't do it justice, you're just gonna have to trust me! :)

Quotations is a very good coffee shop. Great food selections and pasteries with a nice local vibe really help make this a nice place to visit. The batista pulled a good shot this morning for my latte, but the milk was poorly foamed with large bubbles. In fact the foam looked like a foam you get off one of the automatic machines in a convenient store yet they have a great machine in the shop. Overall it is a great place and perhaps the bad foam was a one off. I will definitely go again to Quotations as it is the best coffee shop in Brevard.

Quotations has a nostalgic vibe—like stepping into a Thornton Wilder play or Horton Foote story. The effect is warm and friendly, a place to forget the world’s problems for awhile and relax into a cup of delicious counter culture coffee or espresso drink. The owners know how to brew a drink the right way and their La Marzocco machine does not disappoint. Enough baked goods and lunch options to take the hanger pains away too! Highly recommend this cafe when you’re in Brevard.

Bathrooms are clean but there was a homeless man grooming in there.

Great little cafe with a friendly atmosphere and friendlier staff! Serves Counter Culture coffee, roasted in Durham, and has a wonderful selection of hot teas. Also- great bagels. Especially the sundried tomato bagel. Welcoming, family friendly, and a great place to work.

Friendly, relaxing atmosphere. Food was decent but portions were on the small side for the price.

This is a good spot to meet up with your friend. I have enjoyed tea at a high table or in a cozy chair in the back. I can't speak for the food here, yet.

A GREAT coffee shop. I always meet someone new there. It's just a friendly place. Great parking. Clean! And in a location close to Brevard's many wonderful shops. A great singles place.

This place is great! There's plenty of vegan options, the food tastes great, and at an excellent price. I really think they placed the seating well. There are a few cozy spots with reading chairs that make you feel private yet offer a great view of the hustle and bustle of the customers. If you're a writer, it's fabulous for people watching and relaxing. There's even a beautiful community room in the back which would be perfect for book clubs.

Sorry guys. You missed the mark on my visit. The board said zucchini, roasted red peppers and goat cheese quiche. My first bite proved the board wrong. It was salmon with a potato crust. Just plain YUCK. The cook said he told them twice to change the board. How about warn me when I order? I was NOT offered a new meal. Btw, I LOATHE salmon! I was offered a free Danish. Another customer saw my face when I took the first bite and came to my table to discuss this situation as her quiche was not the one on the board, but the salmon as well. Word: salmon does not go in quiche, especially with a potato crust. Gross.

Very disappointed orders Quiche one with fruit cup one with salad the only thing good were the fruit cup and salad. The potato crust, turkey, & cheese quiche was burnt completely and unrecognizable no turkey or cheese to be found only over cooked eggs..This was take outeaten in parking lot. We were to embarrassed to take back in.

This is quite the happening place just off the main drag in Brevard. Friendly staff and good light brunch food. They have outdoor and indoor seating. I enjoyed the yin yang egg bowl which is from their gluten-free menu. I wish they had more selections but I was very satisfied with what I ate! Cheers!

I Love Quotations... this is a great place to either sit down and enjoy a coffee and some breakfast food over a book or sit down and enjoy some conversation with friends. There is a good amount of seating in here and it has a great aesthetic atmosphere. It’s in a great, easy to get to location.

I'm a writer and I love going to little cafes to write.Quotations is a great place to just sit back, relax and escape into your own little writing world.I really enjoy going there to do my work and it gives me some options for where I can go.They are very happy and I absolutely love the little quote of the day thing they have there.If you're a writer, grab one of their great iced lattes and sit down to escape to your own little writing world. I highly recommend this place!

Very good coffee and very pleasant experience. Would definitely come back. The quiche was good. The biscuits and gravy are very good. It was very quiet and cozy. Not sure what happened to the other reviewer. We came on Sunday morning and everyone was super chill.

Great local place. Excellent service, delicious pastries and coffee and fun light entrees.

They seriously need to do something about the pastry, or lack of.Plaster cookies, weird fluffy pumpkin pie, macaroon was over baked, so it had a layer of chocolate icing on the bottom ?Coffees good though.

Found this place when we discovered that Sunrise Cafe is closed on Sundays. Nice clean place, friendly staff, 6 choices of coffee on tap, hot breakfast, sandwiches, pizza. We had the egg bowls, good but mere mortals may want to share with a friend as each bowl contains 4 eggs! Pumpkin pie was also very good.

Downtown Brevard was a hidden surprise on our trip into the NC mountains. A small college town with an even more surprising hidden gem called Quotations Coffee. The staff was knowledgeable, efficient, and exceptionally friendly. The atmosphere was light but a nice retreat from the heat, and the breakfast was delicious. I would definitely recommend this as a must-try for any coffee lover driving through this neck of the woods!!

I was looking for a nice atmosphere where I could have a light lunch and read my book...I found it. Good food, coffee ☕ and dessert was a plus and I felt welcome to stay as long I wanted. I will be back.

Came here every morning of my mini vacation and wouldn't have had it any other way. The staff seems a little worn out from the business, but are still plenty pleasant! The food is amazing with tons of options from breakfast-brunch-lunch. The drinks all hit the spot, each one I had was perfect! Definitely would strongly recommend. Even busy the service is fast and they bring your food to the table. Please bus your own dishes though! They already do so much and it isn't fair to them when people leave their dishes and trash all oflver on of their tables! 20/10 amazing place to grab a bite, a drink, or take a sit down for a little while!

Perfectly acceptable breakfast of biscuits & gravy with a large black coffee. Got it quick and got it fresh. Coffee was fresh and strong. Inside was clean and staff was friendly enough.

Always fun to spend time at Quotations. Doesn't matter if you are alone with a book or with a group. Great for breakfast, brunch or lunch.

Came for the first time with high hopes but was met with disdainful and cold crunchy hipsters working the counter. Waiting for a while at the counter while three employees ignored us and worked around us until my husband said hello in a friendly tone and was given a glare and an exasperated “I’ll be with you in a moment” after she was ready to take our order I deliberately said “ hi how are you” to which she continued with the glare. Really, it’s 2020 and it’s not cool to act like you hate the world anymore. Owner seems nice. Needs to bring warmth into the establishment, there’s too many coffee joints in the world to be made to feel as an inconvenience for merely attempting to patron a local place.

I stopped in to check out the coffee shop while shopping in Brevard. The latte I ordered was fine but the muffin must have been 3 days old as it was very stale. I figured that must have been an oversight so I ordered a Kale salad to go. It was nothing but a handful of kale and a tangerine that had been pulled apart, nothing else. Very disappointing to say the least. The staff was attentive but it seemed to take a long time to get the latte as it wasn't that busy. I doubt I will frequent this place but everyone deserves a second chance so it is possible I would try again to see if it improves.
